New Zealand is known for their extreme sports and their penchant for Rugby which is their national sport. The Kiwis are very active when it comes to physical and sometimes outrageous sport. All Blacks is their team for rugby, Black Caps for Crickett, Tall Blacks for basketball. They also love tramping, bungee jumping, skiing. It’s kinda fascinating that they like physical activities while me personally don’t like to travel and not even want to ride the Space Shuttle.
New Zealand is awesome! Most of us came from North American accounts and I for one, this is my first time handling a different account. Different culture, different ” language”, different geography. This is all WOW! The country is very fascinating and so close to our culture. Studying the country’s history kinda reminds us of the Ifugaos, Ibanags and Badjaos. Here are the similirities between Filipinos and Kiwis:
Kiwi Pinoy
Culture Maori Malay
Literature and Art Moko (tattoo) Alibata ( commonly used as tattoo)
Symbols Kiwi Sarimanok
Outfit Piu Piu Skirt; Headband Bahag
There are still a lot more similarities. The people there are more patient and laid back, just like us, that is a big change considering we’re used to irate North American customers (disclaimer: info based on personal experience)
